What’s a Friday Flock In?
It’s a free, virtual lunchtime conversation with good people, great ideas and a whole bunch of inspiration. With a new guest speaker every time, Friday Flock Ins are a chance to explore different ways of thinking and doing, learn from people who are making great stuff happen, and connect with others who give a Flock about community, care and the future of ageing we’re all flying towards.
Who’s up this time?
For this Friday Flock In, we’re talking all things death and dying (we promise it’s not as heavy as it sounds!) To gently embrace our mortality, we’ve invited Danni Petkovic to shine a light on why death and grief literacy matter, and how conversations on dying can change the way we live for the better.
To Danni, death is not the opposite of life, but rather, part of it. As a Death Literacy Educator and Mortality Doula (Liminal Being), she believes that when we stop avoiding death, and start moving towards it with honesty and care, there’s a shift – fear makes room for presence, and presence makes room for everything that truly matters in life.
So bring your lunch, a notebook and your curiosity, and flock in for a great conversation to end your week.
August 28 @ 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm
